Keepsake

Most brides decide to keep their bouquet as a token from their special day.

Usually it ends up drying, the lighter flowers sometimes turn brown, depending on the flowers they may not hold as well as traditional roses...but it is still intact and a special memory of your day.

Here is an AMAZING alternative to the "Bride's Bouquet"

These are called Brooch Bouquets...they are made up of many different coloured, sized and themed brooches and jeweled pieces just for you.

Use this as a piece to hand down to your daughter, daughter-in-law, granddaughter...it is a special piece that could be used for generations.

Or, as an alternative, you can pass out a "piece" of your bouquet to each of your bridesmaids as a special gift to them!

Here are photos from The Bejeweled Florist - I found this shop on http://www.etsy.com/ she is truly talented!!!!

Edward + Laurie

Tonight I had a rare opportunity...a wedding on a wednesday!
It was actually a vow renewal for Edward + Laurie to celebrate their 20th anniversary. It was twenty years ago that they got married in front of family and friends and today they got to celebrate all over again with their growing family, including their two precious daughters.

This vow renewal came together quickly, only picking the venue on Monday night, we had everything set and ready to go for today. It was flawless.

Laurie did a great job showcasing her favourite colour, Yellow. The room was decorated with cream table linens, bright yellow napkins, and yellow flowers. Candles always add a nice accent to any venue, they can do a lot without spending a lot!

It was a very special night for Edward, Laurie + their daughters. Their girls prepared an amazing speech that proved what an example of true love their parents are, it truly showed how close this family is.

Congratuations on your twentieth wedding anniversary! It was an amazing experience and I thank you for letting me be a part of this special milestone in your lives!

The pictures really do not do this venue justice!
Amazing food, great service, stunning picture opportunities right by the lake @ the marina!
Truly a hidden gem!

Baby BUMP

Not only wedding planning...Here are a few pics of my recent "Baby Shower" experience!

The cake is made entirely of diapers, wash cloths, pacifiers and onezie's! The handmade cards add a personal touch for the beautiful mom-to-be.

Can be personalized for a boy, girl or any colours you want! This one was made for a mom-to-be that is waiting to find out the sex of the baby! I wrapped it in pretty yellow + green ribbon and added some flowers like a real cake. The topper is three pacifiers tied together to resemble a flower! This size has about 60 diapers included, but can be made any size to fit any budget!

Questions? Want one? They make amazing baby shower gifts!

Coming Soon...

Here is a sneak peak at my website - currently under construction...but will be finished soon!

Enjoy!

2011 Engagement Party

Here is a little taste of our engagement party! George and I celebrated our engagement with our closest friends and family at Paradiso Restaurant in Oakville this past April.

It was a pretty casual event with hors d'oeuvres and cocktails! Our theme of Yellow, Black & Damask patterns is going to be carried out through until our Wedding Day!

Stay tuned for more updates on our New Years Eve 2012 Wedding as well as other upcoming events and projects!

2009 Destination Wedding

Angela + Ryan

This was a wedding for a close friend that took place in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico!

The Bride & Groom, along with over 60 guests spent a week in the beautiful sunshine at the lovely Riu Palace. The beach-side ceremony, dinner and a night full of dancing made this destination wedding truly a perfect day!

Angela, you looked amazing and I am so happy for you and Ryan!
One of the BEST weddings I have been to, and an honour to have been a part of your day!
